Donald Clickman (gustavhochman@hotmail.com) from Schenectady, NY My mother reads this website often. She looks for names that she might know in the birthday section. She grew up in Aalen and is always amazed at how the town has grown. Her maiden name is Hedwig Altmann. She thinks all her old friends are gone. She is 87 years old now. It would be nice to find someone she knew to write to her. |

Marie Ulrich Pousson (mpousson@yahoo.com) from Houston, TX USA My granfather was born in Aalen, and came to the US when he was 12. He lived on Ulrichstrasse, which I am told is a street which has had a name change. My daughter will be there visiting this week, and I hope she finds it. We have a photo of his old house from an uncle's previous visit. I am happy to find this website, and hope to visit someday myself. The city looks charming! Antwort Dear Mrs. Pousson, thank you very much for your entry. The Ulrichstraße has been renamed to Marienstrasse. You can find it on our map: http://www.gisserver.de/aalen/karte?mode=str&theme=STADTPLAN&ww=820&wh=580&str=marienstr Yours sincerely Ralf Abele |
