Since 1995 Aalen and the Turkish city of Antakya exist in a harmonious partnership. The largest Sister-City of Aalen, with approximately 1.659.000 inhabitants, is located in mainland Turkey, near the sea and the island of Cyprus. It is approximately 3,200 kilometers from Aalen.
